JEECUP (Joint Entrance Examination Council Uttar Pradesh) is also known as UPJEE (Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Exam) or UP Polytechnic Entrance Exam. It is a state level exam which is conducted by Uttar Pradesh Board of Technical Education (UPBTE). The exam is conducted for selecting candidates who would be admitted to various polytechnic programmes in the field of Engineering, Pharmacy, Agriculture, etc. UPBTE organizes JEECUP online counseling 2017 through online mode. Candidates can register on the website for counseling. Candidates have to deposit the counseling fee after registration. The counseling fee is Rs. 250. The fee can be paid through credit card/debit card or Bank Challan. The counseling fee can be paid only once during all the counseling rounds. The fee is non-refundable. The allotment of seat will be based on rank, filled choices, seat availability & reservation.

It is held for providing admission into the various polytechnic programmes in the field of engineering, pharmacy, agriculture, etc. JEECUP Counseling 2017 registration for round 1 was started from 13th June 2017 through online mode. JEECUP seat a allotment result for 1st round has been released on 22nd June 2017.

JEECUP Counselling Process

  • Online Registration: Candidates have to register for the UP Polytechnic online counselling 2017 through online mode from the website by entering application number & password. After registration, candidates have to submit the counselling fee.
  • Choice Filling: Candidates who have completed registration process, now have to select the courses & institution as per their preferences. There will be no limit to select the maximum number of choices. After choosing all the choices, candidates have to lock the final choice filling. Candidates have to choose the maximum number of choices in the counselling.
  • Document Verification: Candidates who completed the lock choice process only their documents will be verified. Candidates will have to get their documents verified physically in the help desk center. The documents will be verified by the counselor. If all the documents will find correct it will be uploaded online in the website.
  • Seat Allotment & Fee Deposition: After the document verification, the seat will be allotted to the candidates. Candidates who allotted a seat have to submit Rs. 3000 as a security fee. Candidates, those submit the security fee have two options of seat allotment:
    • FREEZE: In this process, the seat will be allotted to the candidates will be final & separate the candidates from the other round of counselling. After this, candidates can download the JEECUP allotment letter.
    • FLOAT: In this process, candidates have an option to upgrade & participate in other rounds on the basis of the previous filled choices.
  • Reporting at the Allotted College: After the completion of all the process, candidates have to report at the allotted college within a given time period & confirm their seats.
